Endowment Funds (A–H)

This fund was established to provide support for elementary school teachers who wish to engage their students with visual art projects and be used for supplies.


This fund was created to provide support for the Jennings County Community Foundation's general fund and to various needy charitable organizations as determined by a committee selected by the Bentz family.


This fund was established to provide support for the Town of Vernon for carrying out its role and missions.


This fund serves to create and provide support for maintenance, restoration, and enhancement as a natural ecological site. The Calli Nature Preserve was donated to the JCCF by Jim Calli in honor of his parents Louis and Violet Calli. The Calli family was an integral part of this community for many years. Dr. Calli ministered to the residents of Jennings County for 50 years as a physician. Dr. Calli was a wildflower enthusiast, and it was his intention to donate this land for Jennings County residents to enjoy.


This fund was created to provide support equally to the Jennings County Community Foundation's general fund, St. Mary's School, and the First Christian Church of North Vernon.


This fund was established in memory of Richard Mayer by John and Susan Barlow. Richard Mayer was an avid golfer, Editor of the North Vernon Plain Dealer and Sun, and a very active and supportive member of the community for many years. This fund was established to provide support for North Vernon Parks and Recreation.


This fund was established to provide support and carry out its role and mission of Country Squire Lakes.


This fund was established to benefit North Vernon Senior Resources.


This fund will provide support for the Jennings County Soil & Water.


This fund was established by Carol Gay in memory of her father, Paul A. Davis. The purpose of this fund is to provide educational financial support for educational classroom teacher projects, support for expenses of students who may be involved in a business course, or support of educational resources that focus on understanding the concept of investing.


This fund was established by FPBH, Inc. to provide support for philanthropic and charitable organizations, interests, and/or scholarship opportunities as determined by a committee established by FPBH, Inc.


This fund was established by the Jennings County Community Foundation Board in honor of Frank Biehle upon his retirement from the board and its committees. Frank Biehle was one of the founding members of the Jennings County Community Foundation and was an anchor to the JCCF for fourteen years. This fund will provide support for community betterment projects in honor of Frank's dedication and care for Jennings County.


The purpose of this fund is to provide support to the Park Theatre for the children's summer movies.


This fund was created to provide support for St. Mary's Parochial School in furtherance of its role and missions.


This fund was established to provide support for the Hayden Historical Museum.


This fund was created to support Hayden Elementary School students for educational programs, materials, equipment, or training for the betterment of their education.


This fund was established by John and Susan Barlow to provide support for the purchase of equipment and educational projects designated to benefit the Sullivan Blacksmith Shop Learning Center at the Hayden Historical Museum.


This fund was established by Susan Barlow to provide support for identified, essential, and worthwhile community projects within Jennings County. Such support will be used to further the charitable or other exempt purposes of the designated non-profit and shall be consistent with the mission and purposes of the Jennings County Community Foundation.


This fund was established by Susan Barlow and Pat Sullivan to provide support for the maintenance and upkeep of the Hayden Methodist Church.


This fund was created to provide support for Jennings County to meet the needs of the county for education in the areas of nutrition, drug awareness, and general health issues, and to promote natural nutrition for a healthy journey through life.


This fund was established to provide support for Historic Hoosier Hills.

This fund was established by Irene Fox as a memorial to her husband, Jack Fox, to provide support for the North Vernon City Park, North Vernon, and Jennings County, Indiana.


This fund was established in memory of Jackie McConnell Echelbarger by her family and will provide support for the Geneva Township Recreation Center.


This fund was established to provide support for the Jennings County Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the Jennings County 4-H Livestock to meet the needs of the citizens of Jennings County, particularly the youth that are engaged in farming and livestock.


This fund was established to provide support for the Jennings County 4-H Council to be used for Jennings County 4-H members.


This fund was established by Jeanie Hahn to provide support for non-profit organizations for special needs or projects for the benefit and betterment of Jennings County residents.


This fund was established to provide support for the Jennings County Fair Committee to carry out its role and missions.


This fund was established by AmVets to provide support to the Jennings County Animal Shelter. This fund was established as a memorial to Kim Fox, an avid animal lover who lost her life in a tragic automobile accident at the age of 17.


This fund was established to provide support to Jennings County for improvement and development.


This fund was established to provide support for the Jennings County Memorial Clock to carry out its role, mission, and community activities.


This fund was established to provide support for the Jennings County Orchestra Parents Club to carry out its role and mission.


This fund was established to provide support for the development of the parks in Jennings County.


This fund was established by the Jennings County Community Foundation to honor and support the Jennings County Players and their mission.


This fund was established to provide support to the Jennings County Public Library to carry out its role, mission, and community activities.


The Jennings County Youth for Development was formed by a group of Jennings County High School students who wanted to make a difference in Jennings County. This fund will provide support for their mission which is "to enhance the quality of life for the families of Jennings County; ensure our full potential; build an inviting tomorrow; develop and sustain a united community identity and award grants in the interest of community advancement."


This fund was established by the Day family in memory of John and Linda Day to provide support for the Jennings County Coordinating Council to help provide food baskets for Christmas.


This fund was established in memory of John Snyder by his family to provide support for North Vernon Parks & Recreation to meet the needs of the City of North Vernon's Parks Department to promote the environmental sustainability and the natural beauty of the City of North Vernon Parks.


This fund was established in memory of Judy Love by her family, who had a great passion for teachers and education. This fund provides support for Jennings County teachers for projects or programs.


This fund was created to provide support for the Park Theatre Civic Centre to carry out its role and missions.


The primary purpose of this fund shall be to provide support for the Hayden Historical Gallery of Agricultural Leaders with emphasis on growing the endowment to award cash gifts or scholarships to those in an agricultural career or pursuing an agricultural career.


This fund was established to provide support for historic preservation and restoration of cemeteries in Lovett, Marion, and Montgomery Townships within Jennings County which do not have dedicated cemetery associations.


This fund was established in memory of Lillian Carmer who was a former assistant editor at the North Vernon Plain Dealer and community activist. Lillian had a love for animals, agriculture, children, and nature, and so her fund grants annually to support one of these areas.


This fund was established in memory of Linda Hall, who was the First Lady of North Vernon for 16 years. The fund was established by her husband to provide support for St. Mary’s Parochial School's Tuition Assistance because of her dedication to education and the church.


This fund was established by Mark and Linda Erler to provide annual support for community projects.


This fund was established by Margaret Clayton to provide support to the general fund of the Holton Christian Church for carrying out its role and missions.


This fund was created to benefit the Hayden Historical Museum.


Endowment Funds (N–Z)

This fund was established to provide support for special education needs as determined by Michael Eastman and the JCCF Board of Directors.


This fund was created to provide support for the Jennings County Community Foundation, the Town of Vernon, Coffee Creek Baptist Church, and the Paris Crossing Alumni.


This fund was created to provide support for Our Heritage, Inc. and the Jennings County Historical Society.


This fund was established in memory of Roger Simmons by his family to provide support for the Jennings County Livestock Committee.


The primary purpose of the fund shall be to provide for the perpetual maintenance, improvement, and support of the Tea Creek Cemetery in Lovett Township, Jennings County, Indiana.


This fund was established in memory of Sherida Burgmeier Moore by her family to provide support for the following within the Jennings County Community: church programs or projects for the good of the church and community, education programs in all areas and of all types, children's services agencies at work in the community, and environmental programs and projects that benefit the environment. Priority consideration will be given to projects and programs that were close to Sherida Burgmeier Moore's heart and passion, including St. Mary's Church, St. Mary's School, St. Mary's Cemetery, CASA, programs and services provided to children with special needs, and Friends of Muscatatuck River Society.


This fund was created with the express purpose of reducing the actual tuition assessed to each student for so long as St. Mary's School operates as a parochial school.


The purpose of the fund shall be to provide support for the primary benefit of the St. Mary's Catholic School of Jennings County, and in the event of the school closing, the second beneficiary would be St. Mary's Catholic Church.


The purpose of this fund shall be to provide support for the St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store for programs or activities that fulfill charitable or other exempt purposes that are consistent with the mission and purposes of the Jennings County Community Foundation.


This fund was established to provide support for the St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.


This fund was created to provide for the perpetual maintenance, improvement, and support of the Tea Creek Cemetery in Lovett Township, Jennings County, Indiana.


This fund was established by the family of TJ Waggoner in her memory, who had a deep passion for primary level education, especially literacy, to provide support for the Ohio Valley Opportunity, Inc. Jennings County Head Start. If for some reason the Ohio Valley Opportunity, Inc. Jennings County Head Start would dissolve, the fund would provide support for Jennings County Schools for Scipio Elementary Third Grade Literacy.


This fund was established by the family and friends of Tony Farrell after he was killed in a tragic accident, to provide support for community projects.


This fund was established by the Jennings County Community Foundation to honor Lester Tracy for his 17 years of service and dedication to the JCCF. This fund will provide support for the Hayden Historical Museum.


This fund was established to provide support for the Jennings County Council on Domestic Violence, building maintenance of the Park Theatre Civic Centre, the Jennings County Community Foundation operating fund, Pregnancy Care of North Vernon, and Jennings County High School.


This fund was established to provide an endowment that will enable women to support the community in various projects.
