The Jennings County Community Foundation works to identify community issues and grant-making opportunities, promptly acting as a leader and convener by utilizing available human and/or financial resources to address areas of immediate and long-term community need. The JCCF operates a broad grants program to multiple grantees that is limited neither by a single focus or cause nor exclusive to the interests of any particular constituency.
The JCCF widely disseminates grant guidelines to ensure the fullest possible participation from the Jennings County community, and due diligence is performed to ensure that grants will be properly utilized for their designated charitable purposes.
The JCCF awards grants from its discretionary resources through an open, competitive process that addresses the community's ever-changing needs. To learn more about our upcoming grant cycle or request an application, please contact a member of our team.
The Classroom Grant application is open to all teachers in the Jennings County School Corporation, St. Mary’s Catholic School, and Columbus Christian School – North Vernon.
The deadline to apply for the Classroom Grant is September 15th, 2025.
The Jennings County Community Foundation annually awards Community Impact Grants through an open, competitive process that addresses the community's ever-changing needs. Applications may be submitted on an ongoing basis but will only be reviewed by the Grants Committee and the Board of Directors in June and December of each year.
The deadlines to apply for a Community Impact Grant are June 1st, 2025, and December 1st, 2025.
